Christopher Hoyt Knight is a composer for film and television. From an early age, Christopher started tapping out melodies on his family’s piano. This led to piano lessons and eventually his getting a Moog synthesizer. He wrote songs, played in bands, and acquired more synths, samplers, guitars, computers and crates full of audio cables.
Christopher’s opening themes for Masterpiece Classic and Masterpiece Mystery are heard on PBS and Amazon Prime by viewers every week. You can also hear his music during NBC’s Sunday Night Football. In 2017, he reimagined the classic HBO “Feature Presentation” theme. Indiewire hailed Knight’s new theme as, “…quite honestly more epic than most marvel superhero themes.”

Knight has written the scores to several films including: A Close Enemy [Sony/Monumental Pictures], Six Degrees Could Change the World [NatGeo], Echo Park [Array Films]., and Director Diane Paragas’ award winning debut film Yellow Rose [Sony]. He has also worked with composer Blake Neely writing music for TV including Blindspot [NBC], Arrow [CW], and the hit Netflix series YOU.
Christopher currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
